I love a fine day.

I love a fine day.
The reasons are:
First, it makes me feel good. Warm sun and cooler wind are best gifts.
Second, it makes me active. It is good to go out with friends on a fine day.
Third, it brings my will up. I can do things which I thought hard enthusiastically.
I hate a rainy day.
The reasons are:
First, it makes me feel bad. I felt bad with no reason on a rainy day.
Second, it makes me inactive. it is one of my worst thing that my shoes get wet by rain.
Third, it brings my will down. I feel like I want to sleep without doing anything on a rainy day.
Suddenly, I though I am unhappy one day.
Other people looked happy. That make me to think that I lost my happiness to other people.
I was sad, unhappy.
I could not work hard.
I thought study is not necessary for unhappy life.
So I lived depressed life day by day.
One day, I though I cannot live like this.
I thought I should get out of the depressed life.
I turned on music.
I was listening to classical music which make me feel calm.
While I was listening, I was thinking again if I'm unhappy.
It was not. I was happy.
If I remind that time, I was so tire of study.

If I have a period of depression again, I'll get that feeling out of my way while I'll listen to the classical music.

NOW,,,,,,I want to tell how to make Kimchi.
As you may already know, Korean people love spicy food. Frankly, we cannot eat a thing when it is not accompanied by kimchi.
So, I would like to explain how you make kimchi.

First of all, you would need some Chinese cabbages, radishes red
peeperica powder and salted anchovy. (Depending on your own taste, you can use other salted seafoods, such as shrimps or hair tails, instead of salted anchovy. Shrimps are common in north region, and South region favors anchovy.) Also, would need some garlic, ginger roots, green onions, dropworts, Korean bamboo hats, and some sugar and salt. You can put oyster in it too, however you will have to finish it soon, since oyster will boost the kimchi's fermentation.

You have to remove the yellow outer leaves from the Chinese cabbage, and divide smaller ones in half, and the bigger ones into four pieces.
About five to six hours after picking the cabbages, wash it and soak it in saltwater.
Afterwards, cut radishes, dropworts, bamboo hats, green onions into neat and equal-sized pieces.
The sauce is quiet simple to make. You just have to soak the red pepper powder in warm water, and mix it with peeled garlic and ginger shell. Then put each by the mortar.Next, spread soaked pepper powder on to the radish, dropworts, bamboo hats, and green onions. Mix it togehter with garlic, ginger, salted anchovy, and a little sugar. If you are putting some oyster in, put it in after you mix it, so it does not break.
Finally, apply the sauce you have made earlier, equally onto each leaves on the cabbages.Pack the cabbage into its shape, and make sure it is firm. Then put it all into a pot, and place a heavy stone on the cover. The stone, will compress the kimchi, and help its fermentation process, make it taste better.

Are you boring now? I hope you always have a happy day!!

Hello, my classmates!
I read an interesting articles in the Korean newspaper, so let me share it with all of you.

FUNNY STORY 1
A man goes to the doctor and says, "Doctor, wherever I touch, it hurts."
"The doctor asks, "What do you mean?"
The man says, "When I touch my shoulder, it really hurts. If I touch my knee, OUCH! When I touch my forehead, it really, really hurts."
The doctor says, "I know what's wrong with you - you've broken your finger."

FUNNY STORY 2
A guy finds a sheep wandering in his neighbourhood and takes it to the police station.
The desk sergeant says, “Why don't you just take it to the zoo?
The next day, the sergeant spots the same guy walking down the street with the sheep.
“I thought I told you to take the sheep to the zoo,” the sergeant says."
“I know what you told me,” the guy responds.
"Yesterday I took him to the zoo. Today I'm taking him to the movies."

FUNNY STORY 3
A woman went into a small restaurant.
She looked at the menu and choosed what she wanted to eat.
The waiter noticed that she had closed her menu, so he came over the table.
"May I take your order now? he asked.
"Yes.", she said, "I'd like a steak that is burned entirely on the outside, french fries that are so greasy that they stick together, and for dessert a piece of chocolate cake that is as hard as a rock."
The waiter was shocked and said, "Ma'am, we can't do that."
The woman smiled and said, "I don't know why not. you did it the last time I came in here."

OH, NO!! Your shoes is NOT allowed >_<

American Cultures.......
There is one thing I still don't really understood.
It is unsanitary to keep shoes on inside the home.
I was shocked to see one of my American friends enter her bedroom without removing her shose after tending the garden.
Think of the dirt and germs her shose might have carried into her bedroom!
She vaccum her rooms often, but it still unthinkable for me to wear shoes indoor.
Korean often wear slippers indoor, but never our outdoor shoes.
A few weeks ago, my sister ordered a pizza by telephone. After that, Delivery man entered into my house with his unclean shoes.
OOOOH! NOOOO! I was busy for clearing away the night soil and laid pizza aside.
Because he trode dog dung on my front yard before entering my house. >_<

Have you ever been curious to know...........?

Have you ever been curious to know how happening was occurred to someone's first experience about MIRROR?

I had ever been curious to know it, so I found a folktale of mirror.

After that, every time I watch a mirror it flash on my mind. *^^*

Of course, this is my country tale, so I have to translate Korean sentences into English.

I hope that my sincere classmates enjoy this funny story :-) smilely!

One day, a farmer had a chance to go to the capital.
His wife was thinking about what to ask husband to get for her.
Finally, she said that she want a fine comb, but he didn't know how the comb looks like.
At that time, fortunately, a half-moon was on the sky, so his wife pointed at the half-moon, and then she told him that the comb looks like that.
She said "You can find it at cosmetic shop, or buy it at jewelry store."
He finally understood it and departed to the capital that have many various stores
Since he arrived at the capital, several days have past because of his works.
He just realized that his wife asked him to get something, but he couldn't remember what it was.
However, he just remembered that it looks like a moon, so he looked up the moon which was a full moon.
Anyway, he bought a round something for her, and gave it to her.
At last, uncommon something-there was a strange woman in it-
actually occurred to her whenever she look at the gift which she eager to get,
so she showed it to her husband's mother.
When her mother-in-law looked at it, there was a strange old woman in it,
so they had a violent dispute whether a strange woman was young or not.
The gift threw them into confusion
What on earth did he brought? .......... It was a MIRROR!

He just bought the mirror!

His wife just misunderstood that her husband brought a strange woman!

His mother just didn't never know her wrinkled face!

All my classmates, Have a weekend!!!

My regrettable event (_ _) =_=

The most regrettable event, which I had in the past, is that I did not respect my parents at all.
Of course, I am still not respectful to my parents and making their heart break.
To illustrate my experience happened when I was an elemetary school student,
they had been so busy that they could not care what I was doing.
Our family was in the situation in which we were not accustomed to the ways nearby our house because we just moved into a new house.
I did not go back to my home until 6 p.m., playing with children in the village .
Actually I was playing without knowing that my parents were trying to find me, setting apart their work.
When I returned to my home, I saw my mother was shedding tears for the first time in my life.
I was so shocked when I saw that. And I realized that they love me although they have scolded on me every day.
Therefore, I still do not listen well my parents' words, I will practice to respect them, not just mentioning that I respect them.
