OH, NO!! Your shoes is NOT allowed >_<

American Cultures.......
There is one thing I still don't really understood.
It is unsanitary to keep shoes on inside the home.
I was shocked to see one of my American friends enter her bedroom without removing her shose after tending the garden.
Think of the dirt and germs her shose might have carried into her bedroom!
She vaccum her rooms often, but it still unthinkable for me to wear shoes indoor.
Korean often wear slippers indoor, but never our outdoor shoes.
A few weeks ago, my sister ordered a pizza by telephone. After that, Delivery man entered into my house with his unclean shoes.
OOOOH! NOOOO! I was busy for clearing away the night soil and laid pizza aside.
Because he trode dog dung on my front yard before entering my house. >_<

  1. Yes, the customs can be very different in different countries. In Germany, it is also typical to take off your shoes and put on house shoes after coming in the house, although not necessarily immediately at the door. Do you know Birkenstock sandals? These are the typical house shoes in Germany. In America, it has been popular to use Birkenstock sandals as outdoor shoes, which Germans find very funny. When my son went Kindergarten in Germany, he had to have several pairs of shoes with him. When the children enter the school, they change into houseshoes, and when they go out to play, they wear outdoor shoes or rain boots (it rains often in Germany).
